As an amateur arachnologist, she has collaborated with researchers, contributed her expertise to conservation efforts, and her favorite thing—helped people learn to appreciate spiders through science communication. She is a curator at iNaturalist, a contributing editor at BugGuide, and a volunteer for the Natural History Museum of Utah.
