Sierra Laverty is an Extension Horticulture Educator at University of Idaho, specializing in IPM and native plants. This 7th-generation Idahoan has a history of conservation, growing up watching her mother reintroduce wolves into Idaho and Yellowstone, and her father fighting for salmon habitat. Prior to UI, Sierra worked at Idaho Botanical Garden as the Assistant Horticulture Director for eight years. She received her B.S. in Horticulture from Oregon State University.
