Carrie Jensen is the Urban IPM and Pesticide Safety Education Program Coordinator at University of Nevada, Reno Extension. She has a unique background in landscape architecture and environmental education. She has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from San Jose State University and over 15 years of experience working for non-profits and environmental consulting and landscape architecture firms. She is passionate about teaching sustainable landscaping practices, and has been gardening and designing with native plants for her entire career.
