Soil Health for Healthy Plants
Maintaining soil health is critical for sustainable agriculture and plant health and productivity. There are many key indicators of soil health such as soil structure, organic matter content, and biological activity, but understanding how these indicators are altered by management practices can be challenging. Microorganisms in the soil are an often-overlooked component to soil health. This webinar will describe soil health indicators and strategies and challenges to improving soil health. It will also address ways in which managing soil health can improve pest management.
